Consigning Your Books — How It Works

Self-Serve

  1. The easiest and quickest way to consign your books.
  2. Check the most recent booklist to make sure your books are eligible for consignment.
  3. Place your books and a PRINT ONLY completed consignment form in our secure drop box located outside the CSU Members' Desk opposite the Library.
  4. CSU staff will set up and enter the books under your personal account and email you consignor account credentials so you can see when your books are sold.
  5. Cheques for sold books will be sent by mail after the book return deadline.

In-Person Drop Off

  1. Check the most recent booklist to make sure your books are eligible for consignment.
  2. Submit your books to CSU staff at CSU Members Centre (LB 195) at the North Vancouver campus.
  3. CSU staff will enter the books under your personal account (or set one up for you) and email you consignor account credentials so you can see when your books are sold.
  4. Cheques for sold books will be sent by mail after the book return deadline.

For alternate arrangements, please contact us if you are living outside the Lower Mainland or, for health reasons, cannot access in-person drop-off. Please email support staff for assistance. Some countries are not accepting or sending mail at this time and we are working with Canada Post and other parcel companies to better serve you.
